Dutch Flight Sim Show (Nov 4/5, 2006) Lelystad
Every year at this time one the best Simulation shows going holds its annual event. This particular show is held at the Aerospace Museum in Lelystad (The Netherlands). One of the greatest elements of this event is that all the vendors and exhibitions are nestled in and around the museum aircraft. Its an absolutely beautiful museum to see on its own. Add in the Simulation element and its an Aviation Enthusiasts Paradise.
FDS is super lucky to have Frans Mosmans based in The Netherlands and able to help with our presence in one of the biggest Simulation Heartlands on the planet. Frans put together a great collection of FDS products for people to touch and paly with, Frans was always in deep explaing the new IBL (Integrated Backlit Panels), The REvised NAV/COMM panels, MFP.. ALOT of attention on the FDS-MCP-NG and EFIS panels
Frans did an excellent job showcasing the simplicity and power of the FDS-SYS3 board and just in time with the new FDS-SYS1 board going into production now.
FDS was proud to share space with the folks as "www.Airsimtech.com" as they used the event to officially launch their full line of A320 Glass Cockpit Software. They did a stellar job showing this amazingnew package and had alot of people looking very seriously as the potential of the A320 as a project. Super glad to see them reach this point after years of development and hard work.
This was probably the biggest gathering of "Builder Related" vendors with numerous new people on the scene showing ideas and product. For those of you that missed the event, really worth noting it in your calender next time around!
