That's wierd.. I've not seen this memory error before but have seen it twice in the past week! The sim just completed 7 days of non-stop operation (World Flight Aust Team737) and we got this error once during the event near Milan, and once yesterday during testing near Canberra. Add-ons? .. ...

Looks great Ivar! Love the wrap-around ;). Managing 20fps (mostly) on our old dual-core/9600GS with 5 undocked screens. An i7 would be better tho!

Here's an old close-up shot of how we did ours... 2 independent/linked EFBs, 8" touchscreens, mounted using mini-monitor arms to side panels. Provides swing and tilt flexibility, plus touchscreen interaction requires no leaning-over or squinting. Literally ''ät your fingertips". Merry Christmas to a...

That's right Eric. It does work great - the immersion level is right up there. It's nice to be able to look hard over your left shoulder on downwind and actually see the runway threshold in the distance behind you. But there are penalties to pay... lower res over bigger space means more pixelation a...

I'm using 3 of the Optoma models and I can recommend them. I would prefer WXGA mind you, but the high contrast ratio and massive throw ratio were what sold me. All 3 of ours are throwing 4 metre wide images at present, which is at the upper end of what can be expected at their resolution. If optoma ...

BTW - we're now running 3 ultra short throw projectors on 3x 5x5m screens (yep 15m total width!). Runs great... 270 degrees of view and frame rates are good. :) We're not in my garage anymore - have moved the sim recently. Unfortunately SOL7 doesnt deal with the 5 view windows - but I'm hoping we ca...

Hi Jake. World Flight is a huge undertaking and will cost you weeks of work - but its worth it if you are prepared to put the time and effort in. Send me a PM and I'll put you in contact with the organisers.
