Re: RNAV question

I "re-flew" the same route (with RWY course selected and no direct) and all went fine
I think that the change of route direct to the RNAV approach transition waypoint caused LNAV to disconnect.
Not sure though.
Any comment appreciated
In any case, a joy to shoot all kind of approaches with SimA!

Re: Realistic refueling

After all, using the dispacher console solves it and flow is adjustable .
Nice to see fuel being loaded. :D

Thanks Guys.

Re: Realistic refueling

In the ACARS section the rate seems to be adjustable but the mouse has no effect on the different settings . Remains at 30.
I must miss another simple step.

Re: Realistic refueling

Hi Michael
I would like to see fuel loaded at the same rate as in real life, not in a split second at the touch of a CDU key.

(and be able to tell Pax not to buckle up while we are refueling ...lol)

Pretty sure Sim A can do that.

Realistic refueling (Resolved)

Hello Guys, Looking for a way to assign start and stop realistic fueling to a cockpit toggle Ideally a ON mom (start) /OFF /ON mom (stop) Or could it be done via the CDU by selecting total fuel to be loaded and starting the realistic refueling with a CDU Key The dispatch console allows that but I wo...

Re: Fail Passive/ Fail op

Landing in Winnipeg, from CYYZ today. Confirming the Fail Operational option works super on the SimA NG .
FMA indicates LAND3 and "seems to me" it was the best autoland ever , (probably a placebo effect :P )
Easy to do, just check the fail op selection in Aircraft details (server)

Re: Fail Passive/ Fail op

I agree (3AP), but I understand that the NG has the Fail Op option too ?
Just checking actually, no major issue :)

Re: Fail Passive/ Fail op

It does, thank you.
Part of my question is:
In the server/aircraft options we can choose between Fail passive and Fail op
I understand Fail passive is the default
For sim purposes what is the interest of checking the Fail op option (besides playing with random failures) ?

Fail Passive/ Fail op (resolved)

Fail op is avail on the SimA server. Fail passive seems to be the standard though.
Is Fail op valid for the 737 which has only 2 Autopilots?
What are the required settings to get a Land 2 or a Land 3 ?? (same as Fail Pass CMD, ie: 2 Navs on loc, 2 FD, 2 CRS ? ) #-o

I know that P3D has a lot of limitations when it comes to creating the most realistic aerodynamic simulation,

Not really sure about that!
