Yoke Suggestion

My current yoke (10 yrs old) is having issues - if I need to purchase a new 737 yoke I wonder if folks have suggestions on what brand to buy. Thanks.

Re: P3D V5 & Elevator Trim Up/Down (Resolved)

Resolved. Instructions are available for Trim via FSUIPC/SysBoard by hovering over Elevator Trim Speed (Flight Controls/Flight Controls Fig 1) in V1.96 (I reverted back to be safe). Later I found them here in the forum as well posted by Steve (below). So in the end, no issues w/ FSUIPC6 in it's new ...

P3D V5 & Elevator Trim Up/Down (Resolved)

Running P3D V5, FSUIPC6, Sim-Avionics 1.966, and the motorized TQ. FSUIPC6 is installed on the sim/V5 computer. The TQ is set up on the avionics computer via the SysBoard. All functions of the TQ work when tested. The elevator trim up/down on the yoke is set up in FSUIPC6 on the sim computer as foll...

JetMax TQ and EFIS/MCP Offer For Donation

I checked w/ Peter and he was more than OK w/ me posting here. I have always found this group to be helpful and overall a great community to reach out to. Recently I was able to upgrade to a new throttle and EFIS/MCP as I build out my Jetmax into a more robust sim. I would like to donate the Jetmax ...

New TQ Set Up - No Flaps (Resolved)

Installed the new FDS TQ - I can't seem to get the flaps to deploy. Parking Brake, Engine Cutoffs, speed brake, and trim work (though not from the yoke - but that's another post). Running 1.964 and 737 Aircraft v1.96. TQ is set up via ths Sysboard vs. FSUIPC as instructed. I have a JetMax. One thoug...

Found both - TCAS Test (under Radio) and GPWS Sys Test (under Main Instrument Panel). I'll use a button on my yoke to test - once I get it up and running I'll add a push button switch. Thank you for the advice - next time I'll remember to check the SysBoard controller first - in the end it has the a...

Jetmax - Altitude Intervention

Using a Jetmax therefore there is no altitude intervention button (same w/ speed) - for the other Jetmax users what do you use instead or is there a workaround? I've read that you aren't supposed to rely on vertical speed to change altitude. Thanks Edit - I found this online - I am not at home so I ...

This is beyond my skills so I have been referencing page 48 and 49 in the manual as well as Mark's post above to learn as much as I can. You will be able to tell where I am lost by the questions/comments below. I am not using Pilot2ATC for this test as it is networked from a third computer and its m...

Thank you - I was able to make the change - will need to be at home to test. I also will look into Jackpilot's suggestions.

Radio - COM2 Not Active

I have one of the Jetmax Multi Nav/Comm units - I'm using P3D (V4.5) and noticed today that while COM1, NAV1, and NAV2 work fine I can't get COM2 to work. I can input and change frequencies but cannot get COM2 to go active. Is there a setting I am missing to activate COM2? Thank you. Chuck Edit - I ...

DubaiDave: IMHO one thing to consider - I too had Saitek rudder pedals for my JetMax setup - it seemed that on all of the things I should spend money on that one was near the bottom - besides the Saitek stuff worked. But since then I have upgraded and let me tell you what a significant difference it...
