Also noisy Pots (erratic/jittery) can be minimized with a good cleaning using an electronic cleaner. If this is something you haven't done before a quick search on google will bring up some good videos on how to do it.

talk to Steve or Pete and see if they can help. As the knob is turning yellow it looks to be cast from polyester resin and the best thing to use would be a small amount of epoxy resin. My first choice would be to talk to the guys at FDS. My second choice would be to glue the knob back together using...

Its a shelf for the MIP that sits in behind the cdu bay.

If you scroll down the page here you will see where it goes and how it can be used to utilize power supplies and interface cards

Looks absolutely superb. What camera are you using? It brings out the warm tones that I can never achieve with my photos.

Benq ht2150st - Throw ratio is to long at 0.69. Unless you have high ceilings you will run into trouble filling the screen/shadows.

If going for the optoma gt1080, look for the Darbee version.

Thanks Jon for the download link. This definitely is a nice step fwd for those of us that don't have a real flight deck.

On the topic of solenoids, is there any future plan to develop an interface for the stick shakers, fire handles, start switches and solenoids in general?

Thanks

Awesome Jon, with this new software package, will it also send the signal to a FDS or Phidgets relay card to power a pull solenoid for when the park brake is set and both toe brakes are pushed to release the brakes?

Thanks

curiosity here, I thought FDS was the supplier for the PMDG sim centre 747 testbed. Shouldn't the drivers for the cdu and mcp already be working?

I have setup separate captain and f/o views. Pilot in command will have the correct view loaded. The pilot not flying will be out to lunch on the ground but once in the air its unnoticeable. Doing it this way, the pilot flying will not see the crabbing effect and stops trying to overcorrect on short...

If you go this route, and decide to use something other than a computer power supply, make sure it is a regulated power supply. One of the main disadvantages of an unregulated power supply is that its output voltage is affected significantly by changes in the mains voltage and also by changes in the...
