Re: Is it time yet?

I think that’s a good plan Andy. One thought though, if you want to toy with updating, you can use a good imaging program like Macrium Reflect and backup your stable 4.5 setup first, then mess around. You can always reimage to revert right back to 4.5 anytime. I do that routinely anyway and imaging ...

Re: Project started

Looking great! What stands did you use for the TVs and how big are the TVs? I like the approach your taking.

Re: Is it time yet?

For me, I've been holding out using with Sim-A for a few reasons, First, P3D v5 is in its first update, not uncommon to see a second update before things stabilize. I did a full reinstall as recommended by LM for the first update. Orbx did a nice job rolling out changes to Orbx Central and Chaseplan...

Not that I think the current sounds in the SA sound module aren’t pretty darn good-I do! However, the geek in me has been playing around with another 738 sound pack for my PMDG 738 I really like so naturally I was wondering if there was a straightforward way to update the sound files in SA without...

My thoughts are that since this next release has some major changes under the hood there is likely going to be a few must have 3rd party apps that need updates. We’ve been down this road before. It’s great to have sim platform options. I’d prefer the SA software team stay with P3D4 for now, de...

Thank you Gentlemen, you've been helpful. Good to know I'm not the only one out there tinkering with values to get the most out of the sim. But, that's part of the fun in it afterall!

Hi Michael, Can't say for sure I've had quite that level of accuracy, but that might be more about my SimBrief Dispatch Option settings. There are Dispatch Option settings like Cont Fuel, Reserve Fuel, CI, Passengers, Cargo, ZFW, Altitude, that when selecting AUTO, will produce different results on ...

SimBrief Profiles

I want to see what others might be experiencing using SimBrief. Specifically, if anyone has had greater accuracy in fuel burn predictions, weights, fuel load, etc. by using or developing a profile other than the 737-800 generic profile offered by SimBrief. I created a profile that I believe matches ...

Been awhile now since an update. Although, I can happily report I'm not having any issues so 1.94 is working for me....just the same though, it has been awhile, makes me wonder what's being cooked up or if our Siim-AV development team is just taking some needed time off.

On behalf of the forum, I want to say THANK YOU Michael for taking the time to write and keep the guide updated. It means a lot for us looking to make the transition but lack the experience to do so without loads of trial and error.

Looking to XP11

Gents,

I'd like to take the path you are blazing and move to XP11 on my JetMax setup. Can you offer any advice for getting to the level you have taken things or do you think its best to sit back and wait until more trees are cut down along the trail..?

Great job!
