So the solution for this was the fact that I overlooked the need for a router in the network. I've been using just a switch which has worked well up to this point minus a few inconveniences like not being able to connect remotely from a tablet for the IOS but as soon as I added it the radios startin...

Got the manual from Peter (Thank you) Realized I was missing the tekworks driver for the Ethernet board. Got that installed and now in the sysboard interface it say "hostname found" and says IIT-ECON-8 but it is not highlighted and does not show any radios connected to it. I need to get some sleep b...

Radios initial setup (RESOLVED)

Hello all, I am setting up my Nav and Com radios and have not been able to get the Sysboard interface to detect them. I am using the FDS-ES-Controller. (I've also attempted a single radio without it) The back lighting is wired and working. The computer detects the Ethernet controller and I am able t...

Virtual overhead switch positions

Hello everyone, I do not have the physical overhead in my 737 yet. I tried using the virtual overhead but noticed that when i click the switches with the mouse, they always return to a neutral position. Is there a way to stop this?

Worked like a charm! I will say for people who are unaware, you might have to make a change to the CDU config.ini file to make the NAV RAD page accessible from the CDU. If you press the N1 limit key on the CDU and the NAV RAD page doesn't show, you have to change the value of KEY_MAP UNDER the //MEN...

Ok the computers that are ethernet connected to the main comp will pull up the instructor station, but still unable to get the tablet to be able to access it wirelessly. It has to have something to do with the 2 networks. I'll keep working on it and keep you posted.

Instructor station on tablet

Greetings, I am able to run the web browser based instructor station on the main computer that the server runs on, but not on any of the other client computers or my tablet via wireless. When I put in the address it states "this site can't be reached." The 3 desktops are connected via switch. The et...

Hello all, I cant afford the physical radios at the moment. Is there a way to run a virtual radio stack on a client laptop so I can use my comms from in the cockpit. I run the virtual overhead on that laptop already. I know i can change frequencies from the server app but that runs on the main comp ...

Delay programs in avionics launcher

Howdy,

Is there a way to delay certain programs launch in the launcher program? I have a few that glitch out if P3D does not open first and then have to be restarted. Not a huge issue but it would help stream line the startup process if I could do this.

Wake up all computers on LAN

Hola,

There is a "shutdown all PC's" option on the Sim-A server that allows me to shut down all computers on the LAN from the main computer. I am looking for a way to start up the the two avionics computers from the main computer.
