Might be a local issue, but FSUIPC doesn't want to see my aileron potentiometer. Its seen in Windows and in the P3d controls menu though. This particular pot has a very small amount of travel so that may be why, however there was never a problem in FSX. If anyone else notices anything similar, plea...

Havent flown with SimA yet as FSUIPC doesnt install correctly (no idea what the Beta testers were doing????). There is a quick fix for this apparently in the p3d forum: "Here the solution until Pete is back Go to modules and rename the simconnectP3D2.dll e.g xxx.bak. Then start P3D, in this case FS...

Is your database up to date? I'm asking because I tried the same route with PMDG and when I enter VIDRI, I am asked to choose between 2 waypoints while yours fails at that same entry.

Anyway, just a thought :)

Just as an FYI, the Angle of Attack training has a very good section on programming the FMS functions for the PMDG 737NG, especially the initial setup prior to departure. While the SimA FMS differs from PMDG, the PMDG training shows all the important info applicable to both. On top of that, I can't ...

Have you tested that the actual LED is working using the FDS CDU test software.?
I did notice the EXEC light no longer working as well but this is with the older analog CDU.

Last video and hurray for my sim.

Steve W. and his son Mason came over to fly my sim yesterday and check out the surround visuals. As I expected, Steve was quite impressed by his first experience with surround visuals but I made sure to let him know my current feelings about projectors. :) For those who don't know Steve W., Steve ha...

You need to edit FSX.cfg and add the new resolution in the Graphics section I believe. Just look for the current resolution setting in FSX.cfg and change it to 5049x1050.
After you do that, you should be able to pick the new resolution in FSX.

In the CP Flight MCP's without SPD and ALT intv buttons : SPD INTV = Press and Hold VNAV for a couple of seconds ALT INTV = Press and hold ALT HOLD for a couple of seconds So it's worth trying this. This may work with the CP Flight MCP but if I recall correctly, it did not work for me with the olde...

Yes, its with 1.33 The CDUs are working OK for me in version 1.33 but when I first loaded version 1.3, I had a very similar problem with the captain CDU only. It would do exactly what you describe and I had to use ctrlt-alt-del to kill it. Since the F.O. CDU was working OK, I assumed something got ...

Fuel Cut-off Switches: ENGINE_L_FUEL_CONTROL_SWITCH=5452 ENGINE_R_FUEL_CONTROL_SWITCH=5453 Then back in the FSUIPC Buttons tab move the Fuel control switch until it's detected. Then assign. Offset Byte Set Offset = 5452 value = 1 You will also need to assign the button Released value. And obviously...
