Re: FDS-FC1 Axis interface board

3 meters for unshielded wire should work ok.

USB is all you need to power the FC-1. Don’t apply any voltage to the FC-1.

Re: SA Not Responding

GFX cards on the Avionics PC should be 2 Gig GFX cards for maximum performance. 1 Gig may not be enough.

You could delete the Display and Config ini files in the EICAS folder and reload the EICAS software. It will create new ini files. Setup as per the green screen. CA, EICAS, ISIS and RMI.

Re: Battery Switch does not apply power in 777

Not sure what version you updated from? In the Release Notes there was a change to the start-up of the B777. # New Checkbox on Control Panel - "Start with GND Services Available". This provides GND Power and Air when DC is first connected (ie Battery Switch) This is useful on the 777 as the Elec sta...

Re: ILS Problem (Resolved)

Did you install the MAGVAR files available on the internet?

Update those, latest NavData cycle and then run the Make Rwys. Transfer the files. Usually fixes things till you add scenery or the NavData changes.

Re: Flaps.wav doesn't play?

Try downloading the latest Sounds File and check it again. You may have an older version? Then we can look into it.

Re: Flap Indicator lights

Next step is to go to the FLAPS section in the Sim-A Server and "Set" the Flaps. Aircraft Details/Flaps Calibration Go to each Flap position and click on Set, this will adjust the numbers. These numbers are what the Server is looking for to turn on the LED. You are clicking on "Set" for the Display ...

Re: Flap Indicator lights

In the Sim-A Server, under Flight Controls/Flight Controls 1 What are the settings for the Flaps? There are 2, did you try switching to the other one? Move the cursor over the choice and a message pops up. Again, I don't have a CFY TQ to do any testing for you. But I believe everything is set in the...

Re: Flap Indicator lights

Installation instructions for the CFY TQ and Sim-A is located here:

C:\Sim-Avionics\Documentation

The Flaps are configured in the CFY software if I remember correctly (Don't have one to check).

When updating always remember to do the Autopilot recalls and Save the Aircraft.

Re: FI gauges detection in Sysboard Interface

Hi Geert,

In the FI software what ID number shows up? Check the number Sim-A is looking for (IE: 182) and is the FI software show that?

If 2 gauges have the same number only 1 will work.

Re: First run with new setup

I would remove all switch assignments so you don't find other buttons doing things. If you disabled the Joysticks then you are good, all buttons are turned off then.

Re: First run with new setup

I can only help with #1

The assignments in P3D are still active and are default switch inputs. Go into the Controls and delete the assignments or Controls/Other and disable the Joysticks. There is a checkbox for that.

CFY TQ's need support from the vendor.
