As soon as someone builds a road between the US and Europe I'm going to buy one of those!

Only cost around $6000 delivery :D

Exactly. Steve and I got lucky and bought one in Florida. The second biggest cost was the pulling of the parts. Taking the Pedestal out was two guys and a whole day. We wanted everything we could get so we paid for a few days labour and two guys on it.
We would have loved the shell but like any real Full Flight Sim the inside is real and the outside is a box. So.. we shall follow suit.
Steve made it down there and got into a second -10 for measuring. All set once the last Overhead Plastic roof liner shows. Should be a hoot!
Shipping the parts overseas by surface would take a long time but I bet it would be worth the effort..

That's it, I want one of those..... I'm sure my wife won't mind taking up the rest of the garage for another cockpit............. In my wildest dreams, I guess..... :D

Peter, sounds like you collected nice set of parts for your project. Congratulations.

Did I read that right... $304? What an astonishing deal! Even at $2/mile that's only a few thousand to almost anywhere in the country. Wow!

EBay continues to rule as a great resouce for us, eh? Now if someone would just chop up a King Air...

Store It

Mitch, for that kind of money, we should be able to sneak it home and store it somewhere. LOL

LOLSBOMN...
That means Laughing Out Loud Shooting Beer Out My Nose....

UPS or FEDEX shows a few times a week now with all the crap I buy on EBay and Donna shakes her head and carries the box back to the sim room without trying to fathom what might be inside... I can image the reaction if a flatbed showed up with a flightdeck on it! I think Marsha might be a little more understanding on this one :)

What a steal though, eh? It's almost a shame NOT to buy it at that price, and figure out what to do with it after!

BTW - check out my latest aquisition:
