InterfaceIT Software Build Update (New! Build Jan 13/2011)

Post by pcos »

Latest version of InterfaceIt has been released.

interfaceIT MCS v2.3.0.100 released with Flight Deck Software xml's available for download.

Also required for the latest version of SYS3 cards that are just going out in the field. Works with all other SYS cards.

Updating your software should not overwrite your existing programming but it is HIGHLY recommended that you backup your master XML file in your interfaceIT folder. This is wise at all times but a safety measure when updating.

Thanks,
FDS TEAM

Does that mean it is possible to assign a button in the flight deck that is currently not used to resend all button states to the sim so that changes of the switches while the sim was off can be transferred to the SIM?

I hope that helps with a strange problem that we had sometimes, not a big issue but strange.

Yes is the answer.

That was the plan, some testing will need to be done to confirm.

Many thanks to Brent for his continuing support of his product line and software.

Hi,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've downloaded the new version.
I removed the previous one and installed the new one (interfaceIT_MCS_v2.3.114.zip).

But, when I launch the application, it still indicates that I'm running version v2.3.113.0. Am I doing something wrong? Or, is it just that in the splash screen (help, about), the version hasn't been updated.

Don't get me wrong, it's working fine. Just that I'm a bit confused here.

That seems to be it. It is 114. I will mention it to Brent.

Latest version is required for the ELEC module and the latest SYS cards.

InterfaceIT Software Build Update (New! Build Oct 7/ 2009)

Post by Jetcos »

Latest update that fixes an issue with the ELEC/ALT panel.

Version 2.3.118

Release Notes:
Fixed a cosmetic issue with 7 segment displays showing 0 when no FSUIPC or data was available

If you have the FDS ELEC panel you will need this update to show the proper digits in the displays and rotary selectors should correspond with the switch positions.

Download the latest xml for the ELEC panel in the InterfaceIT/Tools/Download Import Files and select the Control Boards for the latest ELEC xml file.

Re: InterfaceIT Software Build Update (New! Build Oct 7/ 200

Post by mriggins »

Steve quick question since I'm a new member of the interfaceIT group.

Does the interfaceIT software have to be upgraded in series?

Example: version 1, then version 2, then version 3?

Or, can version 1 be upgraded to version 3?

For my (current) setup I don't need this update. But future ones I might for some reason. So I'm just wondering if I need to upgrade this one, in order to do the next, etc.

Thanks!
