Hi to all,

Trying to set up my FDS fire handles with FDS-SYS3 board.
Thought I had it cracked. When I run FSX. I get a message at the top of the screen, InterfaceIT- unloading unsupported module. Can anyone tell me what this means and what I have done wrong.

Thanks Roger

The latest version of interfaceIT is:

Updating to v2.3.124 has not solved the problem the message is still on the FSX screen.

Hi Roger,

In some cases the "Unloading of the Module" is the USB connection dropping out. How long is the USB cable? Cables need to be as short as possible. You can add a powered USB Hub to help. Get a good quality Hub and make sure it has it's own power supply. Run short cables to the hub and from the hub to the PC.

Let us know if this helps?

Hi Steve,

I had the sys 3 card connected to a powered hub and this seems to be the problem. When I disconnected the card from the hub and just used a USB lead the message disappeared. It was a cheap hub I had lying around. My FDS transponder module was working fine through the hub though.

Thanks for the help and the xml files.

Roger

SYS cards are high Power devices and require good quality powered hubs and short USB cables.

In the event that you need a longer run you can use USB Extenders. They use a network cable as the link between each end of the Extender.
(not referring to USB Active cables)

Glad to help!
