PMDG B737NGX and SIM-Avionics

Post by maytham »

Hi every body, it,s been a while since I wrote in the forum. But this time iam a Boeing person.
I use the Sim Avionics suite along with the default FSX B737, no issue at all every thing works perfect. However, I just purchased the new PMDG B737NGX and I couldn't run the sim smoothly. It looks like there's no connection between the FSUIPC offsets and the FSX, I tried to modify the aircraft config file from the server, but nothing changed.
For examples,
You can't start the ENG unless you select the FUEL CUT off to ON from the PMDG panel along with the bleeds. Then you will have the control of it from SIm Avionics. The same routine for ENG shutdown.

I though I might need to get the SDK to solve these issues but according to my search it's not released yet.

Any one could help me here or may some one have an explanation for all of this...

Maitham,

I too just bought the PMDG NGX, and have a little play with it.
Its obviously more complicated than the FS9 version, but for a start
you really cant mix the two logics together. I am working on stripping
everything but the flight model and sounds now, and will test soon I hope.

I am more than happy with Sim-A as my NG "heart", why wouldnt you be? :)

If youre talking about mixing the two packages together...I cant help sorry.

Thanks guys for the help.
Iam very happy really with model and really amazed with sound quality, but it would be much better if we work out something to make it more efficient.

Iam trying my best here to config my setup to begin with. I will play with PMDG config file as a start.
I will give my feedback once Ive done few test flights.
