The Telex 750's are lighweight and can be had on ebay under $50 if you're patient. I grabbed one from the jetcarrers.com message board for $25 shipped

Prototype Intercom pedestal panel
Works fine with sidetone /full duplex /plus audio input (ATC)
Uses 12V and any aviation headset

Now split in two ,one set of jacks on each sidewall.

Keeping up with my policy of "no wood in a 737" I discarded my MDF pedestal to make room for a real unit, sourced by good friends.
The real ped is aluminum and fiberglass. Had to use 3 cans of engine degreaser to get rid of years of accumulated dirt.

Now it is primed and sanded and I will install the innards before painting (own PSU,SysCard, USB Hub and wiring)

Juan
12V 3/4" neons. Check RV/automotive at Walmart. Comes in various length. One on top of the door One on each side. Test to figure out best location.
