For no other reason other than interest in the history, does anyone know how I can trace the original aircraft that my two IPECO seats are from using the serial numbers.

Usually attached paperwork is the only clue. Seats can be swapped at any time.

I have seen seats from FedEX, numerous A300 and A310's. Last pair came from N451FE.

A lot of the B737 seats were America West and United several years ago.

Another choice would be to contact IPECO and provide them with a serial number of your seats. Then again it may just say they were sold to Boeing...would not be much help then.
