Hi, I have a real 737ng engine fire panel which I converted to be fully functional connected to opencockpits cards using fsuipc offsets and SIOC. With my new sim-avionics setup I can't find the fsuipc offsets or the ability to set offsets to control several of the panel switches, such as the overheat detector selectors, the overheat test etc. They are however available for assignment in the Sys interface and will work using joystick buttons. How do I assign the equivalent fsuipc offsets as I can't use joystick assignments with my panel. Regards Mike

Search your FSUIPC_IO.ini for "OVHT"

Hi, I've tried that, I can't find any equivalent "inputs" that match. Perhaps I'm missing something but I can't find them either in the FSUIPC I/O txt file or in the documents.
Regards Mike

Mike

There is an entry in FSUIPC_IO.ini inputs section for OVHT_TEST=
I did not bother to "hook up " to SA for these inputs/outputs - I just coded them locally with SIOC, however I did use FSUIPC offsets for Fire lever pull and fire warnings, bell cutout.

I think that there is an error in the OUTPUTS section of FSUIPC_IO.ini as the text says they are two byte words, but this can surely only refer to the first few entries which are joystick related. Mark- please correct me!!!

Thanks David, I reckon that local coding will satisfy me too. I will use the offsets that are available and code actions and reactions for those that aren't accessible through SA.
Thanks for taking the trouble to respond...
Kind regards Mike
