Hello, When I do my OVHT FIRE TEST, everything lights up normally, however when I click on the Master Caution or Fire Warning to extinguish the light my Fire Test the OVERHEAT stays on as well as the lights of ENGINE 1, 2 and APU stays ON the PEDESTAL.

Do you have any idea how I can turn them off?
thank you

Hi there

Can't say that I have ever had this issue and I do a Fire Panel test every time that I fly.

What SA version are you using?
did this work normally and just started to go wrong?

Cheers
Michael

Hello Michael ,
I am using version 1.964.

It never actually works, it did before even version 1.964.

I decided to fix this problem!

Thank you for your help !

That does sound strange.

Maybe just make sure that your fire panel test switch is releasing okay and that assignments are still okay.

Cheers
Michael

There are 4 assignments required for that 2 position switch

OVHT Test OVHT/FIRE Switch XX

OVHT Test FAULT/INOP Switch YY

OVHT Test Normal 1) OFF Event XX 2) OFF Event YY

That signals the switch is OFF

Hello Steeve,
thanks for the information, its works wonderfully!

Is there any other button I need to configure that should be OFF Event? because I have no other button to configure to OFF Event.

Do you have a list with all the buttons that I need to configure correctly with the Sysboard? thank you

Off the top of my head there are:

Overhead:

Navigation Panel 4 toggles

FLT Control A and B

STBY PWR

Seat Belts

No Smoking

Window Heat Test

L and R Packs

Isolation Valve

APU

IGN

Strobe

MIP:

Fuel Rate

Pedestal:

All 3 position switches in the Fire Panel

Any 3 position switch, as the OFF position can't be wired so the software needs to know you switched to OFF. Also make you use the virtual OH in Sim-A to check the switches by moving the switch and comparing the virtual OH to see that it matches.
