If you are just using the CDU with PMDG you can run the latest TekWorx CDU software.

If you are running the CDU and MCP you need to use the FDS-PMDGController as is.

So to fly with the NGXu we use the CDU Controller, What about the 777? Do we still use the PMDG one? Was the 747 looked at?

Hi tim

Yes i believe the ngxu you need to use the new cdu controller and the ngx and 777 use the old controller, not sure about the 747

I am having an issue with the new software. Screen stays on now, but the exec and side notification lights don't turn on. Tested the hardware, and all is working as it should. Anyone have any ideas what is going on? The new software seems to be working for most.

Problem was fixed. Tekworx was able to find the issue. It appears the file program wrote "EnableDataBroadcast=1" to a separate options folder instead of in the original folder. Once that was corrected, all lights are operational

Sort of. I made the correction, but Tekworx found the issue. According to the Tekworx guy, there may have been an error with the program installation path. He said he is possibly going to put out an update patch it if he needs to

So mine is still not fixed. I am using the "FDS-PMDG Controller" short cut because I have the Glareshield as well, maybe thats the issue, not sure. How are you guys starting the CDU, what program?

Should I uninstall FDS-PMDG Controller and try to re-install it after the CDU install, just curious.

Peter thanks for your guys continued work on this.

So I have the FDS MCP as well as the CDU. Whilst the MCP doesn't yet work 100% correctly I find that if the PMDG - FDS Controller is started after the TekWorx CDU Controller, I will without fail have to shut down the Tekworx controller and restart. It then works just fine.

Not sure if that helps at all?

Andy
