747-400 dimensions

Post by Colin Turner »

Hi

Thanks but those dimensions are what I would have when I have purchased the panels from Flight Deck Solutions.

Thanks for pointing me to that web site.

Anymore help on actual dimensions to assist on the construction of the main frame required to hold all the panels would be appreciated I do accept that other sim builders have had to do a lot of hard work getting dimensions, I just need pointing in the right direction thats all.

All the best

Colin

Colin,

One of the most famous 747 builders is Matt Shiel - have a look though http://www.hyway.com.au/747/747.html or email Matt himself.

Chris.

Hello Colin,

Do you still need the 747-400 dimensions?

I got them, and can send them to you. Say if you want metric or imperial.

Does anybody have any CAD drawings for the 747-400? These could be used for the construction of the outer shell. Cockpit that is.
