Hey Eric,
I bought it, but unfortunately wasn't that pleased with it. Some great visuals, but not a ton of coverage on cockpit proceedures and a "walk-through". I ended up selling it on e-bay. Just my thoughts...Cheers, Steve

thanks Steve!

Well, I guess I will just stick with my GOL 737NG and Helios 737NG DVD for now. If ANYONE has the Basiq Air/Transavia 737NG DVD then let me know if you want to sell it.

Hey Eric,

I have the Hapag-Lloyd dvd but only because the GOL dvd had sold out. Would you be interested in loaning your copy of the GOL dvd, as I would loan you my DVD?

What would the best DVD out there be for 737-800 on procedures and checklists?

Although I really like the GOL 737NG Dvd, the Helios NG dvd has a GREAT overview of the cockpit preparation and preflight checklists.

Alright I give up, where can I get the Helios DVD from? Just Planes don't have it nor the GOL one.

P.S. Just located a copy of the Helios DVD, now for GOL.

If you want DVDs that go through the systesm, try www.itvv.com. Ok they dont have 737NG but I am told its currently being worked on with a well known European carrier.

I have the Basiq one but its not up to much, IMO Just Planes is just a camcorder behind held up for the flight. They dont go into detail about systems and its just shot after shot of the pilots or outside with hardly any detail. Thats my opinion anyway...

Hello Wink
Just Planes video are great to have a general impression about the flights and the routes of the mentioned airliner.
Their purpose isn't to give an training about how to fly that aircrafttype.

The onces from ITVV, as the B747-400 Virgin Atlantic flight EGLL-KSFO are better qualified for that. Great details shots and very good interviews with the Captain and the other members of the crew.

Unfortenately until today they don't have a B738NG in their collection. Probally not so easy anymore after 9/11 to have full cockpit access, even for them.
