Anyone looked in to the tiller handle for nose wheel control when your on the ground? I'm not sure FS has support for it

I think the issue is the gradual move from tiller to rudder pedals on take off. It could easily be setup as rudder pedals for taxing on the ground...

Andrew is correct in that within MSFS there is no way of *only* controlling the rudder or the nose wheel. They are linked together.

I guess that you could write something that will ignore tiller input once the gear is up and rudder pedal input when speed is below 30k

Greetings to all.

I recall reading a long time ago that the rudder pedals ARE effective on
the ground as well as the tiller, but only limited to about 15 degrees of travel in either direction. I believe (please don't quote me on this)
that the tiller is still effective during the takeoff roll, but quickly loses its
effectiveness as speed increases (most likely to the same 15 degrees).

Then again, I don't have a type rating or have access to a flight manual
so I definitely could be wrong.

Cheers,
Jesse
