Rob Howard has had this in his setup for awhile now using a tablet pc. Definately a great setup. Screenshots

Hopefully he sees this and can give us some more detail.

Has anyone else ever taken the time to look at this item and implement into their sim? Since it's networkable, Im going to download the demo and put it on one of my clients to test. If I like it, then I may consider purchasing a touchscreen small size LCD and make it an EFB for my Learjet 45 project.

Ok heres a question,
Can the EFB be put on any screen and sized accordingly or is it one size fits all and does it have to be touch screen? Additionally does anyone recommend the MFD as well or just the EFB? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Will keep you all posted, trying to get my single seat trainer up and running ASAP.

My B737MIP has 4 screens Shocked Ive used a 22"LCD to fit 3 screens on the one monitor. 4th screen for moving map display.

Using a 10"LCD for FMC & Lower DU

I need another LCD for the Engine Display and already have a 7" for the EFB to be mounted on the L2 window frame. 7" Looks a bit small Sad

Dont know whether to use FSWidgets or just stick with a Jeppesen sim chart... will keep you posted.

My website is up and running again - havent done the re-write yet.

Interesting! We're putting dual EFBs in our pit... 8" LCD touchscreens. Sick of all the paper-work and filing. And the World Flight event (Nov. 07) is our main driver to get it running.

My project partner has produced some EFB software which is all patched into VATSIM feeds (optionally) and built around the idea of supporting a flight from gate to gate with ease. You can use any sort of PDF charts with it. It also has some nice FS and SB3 functions on an extra page (pushback, pause, private voice etc.). I'll put up some screenies on my site in the next few weeks.

We're keen to hear what features sim pilots actually want, and how workflows happen for you, so that it can be generally useful.

We are considering options for making the software available for others in the future.

Yeah Tim... you do! Smile We'll send out a BETA to WF crews in September we think.

One thing that will interest 2-crew operations is a 'sync' feature ... if the captain has a chart up ready for a briefing he can press 'sync' and his view will instantly appear of the FOs screen ready for discussion.

Hi Tim

As Im sure the EFB that Nic has mentioned will be awesome, I did want to mention that per the FSWidgets forum, the EFB can be changed in size now whereas before it was fixed. Fermin has created a fix to allow us to alter the size for 'pit builders.

OK...I'm not an attention seeker, but when the developer of FSX EFB
personally pops in to install my copy of EFB and takes the time to right a review(blush)
I thought I'd share it with you guys...

Its a brilliant piece of software and Fermin is a true gentleman.

I have it installed on a 10.4" touch screen and will incorporate it into the
interior one day soon i hope.

Here's his report:

good on ya nat....successful in everything you do and such a nice guy.

folks....he really lives and breathes flight sim and is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to the subject.

even though its tucked away in the games room of a multi million dollar condo....its probably the one sim in oz that would eventually be right for a passing trade.
