Super proud to pass on some update info on one of FDS's longest standing Team Members. David has been with us for close to 5 years and continues to support our efforts in many many way. We are deeply thankful for all the extra efforts he has put into FDS.
His project status is shown in thepic below.

Is that genuine muppet skin? Very Happy

Great work! Smile I'm going to be there one day - only in a slightly smaller plane (737-8/900)

This looks very good David. Smile

Whats the story about the chairs and the columns? Are they home-made?

Thanks to all for the kind words.
The seats were bought in Ebay. They used to fly in a L-1011 Wink
And the columns are coming from a B727. They were "intercepted" by Ricardo Soriano. Thanks for that!
All the parts are painted in dark brown like the original ones.

Greetings
Saludos

Hi David

Great...I have the same seats
Got the maintenance manual Pdf for them ..lots of schematics and instructions . Can send it if needed,
I miss the back cover in one seat..see

Would you know how to get one or make one???

Did you manage to plug the power for the electric motors in the seat
Cheers

Hello JackPilot,
I'm sorry but I don't know where to get one of the back covers. Fortunately I received both. I don't have the pdf so if you can I would be very grateful if you could send me it.
At the moment I'm only using the "manual mode" to move the seats Wink

greetings

They are available at the manufacturer at....$US 390 !!!!!!!!
Cheers

David

Firstly....fantastic work. Well done.

Could you give some idea/details about what you have used to get the lighting for the MCP and MIP.

Hi Gary,
I'm using some white leds with an orange plastic filter to get this illumination in the MCP and MIP.
I'm making some test to get the same color of the real cockpit Wink
At the moment it's very orange and I'm looking for a softer one.

Greetings

Control columns from a Boeing 727? Wonders never cease to amaze me. Laughing

A very nice looking flight deck you have there. Great job.

Did you get the seats from swift46, Boneyard2U, or another one of the guys? I do a lot of business with Boeing sellers on E-bay.
