Hey guys,
for alot of you who have known me for years you never ever get to see my deck. Well here it is, keep in mind I have taken it apart 3x changed the visual system 5X so its still being reworked. For example the foot rests under the instruments will soon be fully functional exactly as they are in the real A340. Also the side panels are still being redone with foam, wood and fibreglass as well as vinyl covering. Anyway here is a shot taken during worldFlight. Keep also in mind I still have the IBL to get from Peter for the MIP and FCU which will definitely help as well. There was a time when my deck was awesome in comparison to the overall building scene but now after seeing the insanely professional talent that has developed over the years such as Alain,Maurice, Ivar, Jon B, Steve W, Steve B, PC, and the list goes on and on far too many to mention I feel like a rank amateur Smile especially with y'all using PCs amazing IBL stuff, theres just no comparison. Y'all definitely set the bar at a high standard.I know you cant tell alot from these pics but OVHD fully function, 2 CDUs fully functional and 3rd is fully functional display for acars, pedestal functional, joysticks both sides and rudders both sides, FCU functional. All instrumentation functional PM. Sound system is 17 speakers 3 Subwoofers built into sound floor. Visuals 2 42" LCD Flat screens for Sides 2 LCD Beamers for front. (Reworking this)
Thanks Peter for helping me post it.

It is looking great Tim Smile

You have even got the meals. Is there any chance we can see the Flight attendants Laughing

How is it like to use LCD on the sides when you have beamers forward? Must be nice to have a side wiew. Thats what I really miss.

Thanks for posting the picture Tim. Always nice to see other peoples setup.

Smile

Tim,

The sim looks great. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun with Worldflight. Hope to join in some time.

The FO looks like he is eating Airline food. I didn't think they served that anymore. Thought you had to brown bag it! Laughing

Ok Tim, I just have to ask something here about this. "For example the foot rests under the instruments will soon be fully functional exactly as they are in the real A340" Shocked

I know that Airbus drivers are generally very lazy and like to laze around their roomy & comfy flight decks with nothing in between their legs Razz , but this is just too much. Exactly how 'functional' are the foot rests in an Airbus?

Is there a built-in hot water foot bubble bath with foot massager and maybe a vibrating pad as well to go along with your vibrating platform? Or maybe you are able to get an automated pedicure while you are napping at FL400. Please enlighten me... switching my allegiance is beginning to sound quite appealing to me, especially since I'm a very lazy person as well and your deck is looking too damn good & comfy compared to a 737 sardine can. Laughing

Guys
Turning the flash on makes the deck look like crap Sad
As far as foot rests go they swing down in like a stirrup type motion so you can lay back but no hot water involved lol. Yes its real airline food provided by Cara food Aviation division and its first class meals and absolutely delicious I must say.
