Shift Key or CTRL key issue

Post by bluskydriver »

You have to push CTRL and Eric has to push Shift Key. Well, I have to push Shift Key the same, so here is a question regarding this.

Do you have interfaceIT or FSUIPC program to push these keys somehow? Either for PTT for online flying or offline ATC?

For some reason, I remember programming the Shift-E key to a switch on the Overhead, the Anti-Collison Light. The idea is the door would close when turning on the light and open when turning off. Using this setup for FSXPassengers. However, thinking the Shift sticking like this happens because it is programmed, but it is not releasing the key. It could be using the repeat key press in FSUIPC? The point is, I have to press it Once or twice in order for the keyboard to work correctly.

Then again, read other places about "Ghosting" Shift Key, so it could be that somehow...

Hi BSD,

The shift key is not used in any combination for another attribution.
The Ctrl key is used in combination for parking brakes in my case.via FSUIPC send keystroke.
Hope this helps a little bit

That is exactly how I did the Shift-E, through an FSUIPC keysend. The InterfacIT is on a separate computer and using WideFS to send that key press back to the FSX Server for Shift-E open/close door. It has to be something related to that function.

Plan to look at this today to check it out...

Hi BSD,

I'll try today to put my keyboard directly to the PC via a normal switch, not via usb maybe this will change something ?
We spend more time in construction and searching software solutions than flying I think, but I love it... :D
