SYS cards are used to illuminate LED's. But not made for 7 segment displays.

You probably could illuminate each segment with a pin from each output on a SYS card but you would need to program all the outputs to create each digit.

I think you would spend too much time wiring and then programming to the point you would give up.

What are you thinking of displaying?

Hi Steve,

Im looking at putting a Pedestal together so I need LCD Displays for the NAV, COMM, ILS, ADF plates. I know this can be done through Open Cockpits cards etc, but after watching your Video on the SYS CARDS It looks like your SOFTWARE maybe a lot easy to use that O/C.

In the video I seem to recall that the SYS3X was recommended for Pedestal applications so I thought I'd check it out.

One other thing if I purchase your QD5 Display Holder to accommodate the 7-seg Displays will this still be a pain to wire up?

Thanks for getting back to me
John

OK .............

So what do you guys provide (if anything) that enables me to hook up your QD5 Display Holders once Ive purchased them?

Does any of your SYS cards support any of your QD Display Holders?

If not could you please advise.

Many Thanks
John

Transponder and ELEC/ALT panel in the Overhead as well.

The QD5 display holders would not be good enough for the radio's either. They are 5 digits only. Radio's need 6.

PNP is the way to go.
