Hello:

I'm beginning to think seriously about propagating the center pedestal with the required modules. I have 3 questions.

FDS modules all are IBL which requires 5 volts power supply.

- Is there a method of powering the modules so that they can be powered by one power source, rather individually?
- How many amps/watts does IBL draw for each module?and;
- Will all the FDS modules turn on automatically with FSX, Sim A and the FDS MIP? (I have read elsewhere that you had to turn each module on separately as FSX didn't pick them up automatically). At the moment I do not have an overhead panel.

These maybe a basic questions, but not having seen a real FDS module or MIP, I'm not sure.

Thank you, WilloW Question

All IBL panels can be fed 5V by a spare computer power supply unit via one or several IBL distribution boxes.

IBL Boeing 777 panels are 3 volts only. Just in case you are 777 builder.
