PMDG NGX and Flightdeck Solutions (FDS)/JetMax Products

Post by pcos »

We are now able to confirm that our interface devices are all working with PMDG NGX.
Via our JetMax line of products we have tested the following items successfy:
PRO-MX CDU
FDS-SYS Boards
FDS and JetMax Glare Interface (MCP and EFIS)

Very nice to see this software and our hardware working together.
Sample here of the JetMax device I have in my office as I do some flying with PMDG NGX.

Update

Post by pcos »

Update: confirmed, still no Porsche in my driveway.... Ten years in...you can actually see my Porsche in the first pic. The tooling for the Throttle and all the design engineering, prototypes covered that!
Must be done. FDS is always pushing into new items and that costs to get it right as folks know.

Your sacrifice is noticed (my post proves that), and we are thankful! The JetMax products are yet another example on the FDS legacy. Affordable solutions for simulator enthusiasts with professional quality!

As for the lack of Porsche: As long as you get to fly a FDS sim on a regular basis (quality control. Someone has to do it, unfortunately...), you should get some of the satisfaction that way. And the best part: nobody can borrow that job, but a Porsche could easily end up as POW (Property Of Wife).

Looking forward to future products! I have a nice little collection of FDS stuff, and more will come. As long as you guys keep up the quality and the superb support, I will be a very satisfied customer!

Peter, excellent work!

Nice to see a high degree of integration of products FDS with software products third-party vendor (PMDG)

I have a technical question - is there any need to install special drivers, such as support for the PRO-MX CDU with model PMDG-NGX?

Many thanks everyone!
We have "initialziation" apps that you run once to allow our CDU or Glare APPs to work with PMDG NGX or iFLY737 CBE.
We email these to people. The only other item that needs to be done is bit of editing of the Panel.cfg file and we can assist there as well.

My JetMax on Order!!!

Post by DaddyBooks »

The PMDG NGX support was the push I needed to "Get Off The Desk" in Peter's words.

My JetMax is on order and I'm starting a new PC build. I'm a bit concerned about overhead and performance from a single system unit but willing to give it a go with an overclocked i7 system. Watercooling anyone?

I'll obviously look forward to touching it in person but the value and cost balance looks tremendous. I may, someday, do a full build but, for now, this looks like a great way to be immersion flying in short order.

Thanks FDS...looking forward to being a soon satisfied customer.

Do any of you have thoughts on Yoke options? Perhaps a JetMax add-on he says...hopefully :)

Someone can help with PMDG NGX inputs ?
My outputs works fine (LED) but inputs (EVENTS) give me hard time.

Any screenshots or exemples will be very helpfull for me.
