Peter, Peter, Peter! You weren't kidding around when you said you had a surprise! The B737-Max-Pro is unbelievably awesome looking! I am so glad I waited for the announcement. The sad part is I am not going to be able to sleep at nite now!!!

Looks great Peter!

Will there be an upgrade path to convert fro. A 737-800 to 737Max?

Peter,

I commented on the 737-MX-Pro, but it should have just been the new 737-MX. When you click the link for pricing though, it takes you to a breakdown for the Pro!!!

Awesome news peter. I though I was dreaming when I saw this and the new website.

Oh is the Jetmax components now on a different website?
Kind Regards

David,
We did in fact look at how to make the current NG DSTD able to accomodate the new MAX variant. This will be possible in late Q1 2018. We expect quite a few of our supporters on the NG to jump over to the MAX. It just looks that amazing with those large screens!

Max Questions

The price sheets are to be updated shortly but do serve as a rough guide on pricing. The MX versions have our MX MCP/EFIS devices and a few other areas we were able to watch costs. Gets us well into range for many of our customers.

This is very likely possible yes. We will work with customers on this approach. Our only concern (Part of the JetMax decision) is to be sure when we ship kits that people are able to manage the assembly side. We have had quite a few folks order kits that should have had us do the work as we ended up building things step by step over the phone. Much better for some folks to let us do "our thing" and supply in a form that can work easily when it arrives. Manuals are very hard to create covering every single nuance.. We try..

Damian.

We sold the company. The new owners will be focused on shifting the production overseas and we will be doing our best to guide them. We will be talking to them about reintroducing the product if that is a viable option in the various regions of the world. Our focus is to shift over to the new "MX" series product.

Peter,

I think the key to the 737 Max product being a major hit, is the ability to add on peripherals. Augmenting the 737 Max MIP with OVHD (Fwd and Aft), TQ, and PDSTL will be key elements for its popularity. Maybe your 737 MX peripherals are already compatible with the 737 Max? I don't know. Just voicing a thought. I am truly excited about FDS presenting this fabulous new innovative product to us. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Stephen...
We have already booked our first FDS-B737MAX-FBPT for this coming spring. Our “Launch Customer confirmed this morning. That means we need to push on all the MAX elements being ready.
It will happen.

Its been a while since I've visited the FDS web site, let alone browsed the forum. I was a member at the early development of FDS and have always been amazed at how Peter and his team have pushed forward from a humble home hobbyist business to where is is today, a respected high quality supplier of Simulator kit, Peter you succeeded where others have failed. Peter you are an absolute inspiration to us all, turning dreams into reality.

Sadly my time has been taken up with work commitments, however I am determined to realize my dreams. I hoping to re-start this year and as always I know that Peter and his team will be there to support me, my only regret is that I live so far away.

Anyway, All the Best for 2018 Peter and congratulations on the New look of your web site and also the fantastic New products. Until next time, Karl
