Garys 747-400

Post by Garys »

I wanted to show some pictures of my 747 project that I have been rebuilding with the great products from the FDS Team. Here is my nearly completed MIP with IBL panels. The Glareshield is powered by the almighty FDS-G1. I want to say a big Thank You to Peter for your excellent products and support over many years and I look forward to adding more pictures as the sim progresses further.

Thanks Nat. You definately have a sharp eye. I have a replacement for the f/o on the way. Hopefully I can get that one to work as well.

Gary, this is a beautiful project.

Is that a projector or a HDTV?

Thanks guys. Im using a HDTV for the time being. This is off to the side as I build the base and visuals so I can continue flying.

I thought so. I finally had a chance to test FS9 and FSX running on my 42" Panasonic Plasma this weekend- unreal. I have not really got the area for the full 12' wrap around display and so I believe I may just go the route of 3 large HDTVs. The detail is incredible and now the prices make it much easier too. Whatever you decided to do in the long run, Im sure it will look great. Nice project!
