It seems to me, that after getting the CDU working once with a set NGXu repaint, I don’t need to start with the NGX again.

When it seemed like it had stopped working, I had also just tried using the SWA repaint for the first time after doing all my initial setup with the AAL. Now whenever I start SWA or the AAL, it works without the NGX first. But other repaints don’t work yet (I presume they will if I start with the NGX first again)

I’m sure none of this will be a worry once the support is updated, but in the meantime, I’m starting to get a sense for how to work around. Just thought I’d share in case it helps others. As has already been discussed, the backlight and execute light are still absent.

Peter / Team:

Any chance you will have a window to take a look at this?
Everything works - all buttons and functions - it's just the display won't stay on - and probably because of the DC Power state.

https://prnt.sc/r0zy53

It's so close and perhaps an easy fix if you guys can take a quick look...
I'm spoiled with this hardware. Going back to mouse clicking isn't fun.

Thanks...

Hi bob 34

Peter has indicated they will take a look as soon as he can spare the resources, it is usable on the ngxu for me,just no offset message or exec light

What exactly do you mean the display wont stay on

Thanks
Wayne

When I start FDS PMDG Interface, the display on the CDU blinks on, then off.
And it stays that way until I load the PMDG 737 - then it comes back on when it detects the aircraft.
For the NGXu - the display on the CDU never comes on - unless I load the NGX first, then switch to the NGXu.

Can you guys direct me to the drivers necessary for the JetMax and NGXu to work please. I am normally using Sim-A but have the MIP down for remodeling of the Sim room but still want to fly something and hoped to use the radios, CDU and MCP with the PMDG. Thanks in advance.

George

This is in test now.
Once confirmed we will have Tekworx upload this to their Downloads page and notify everyone on here.
Peter

PS: Anyone that immediately starts pressuring about MCPs without giving our folks a chance to breathe will be pushed to the back of the line Smile

Folks,
Tekworx has updated the CDU Controller. We have had a few people test and all indications are we are good to go.
Many thanks for your patience.
Peter

Thank you for the update! Not a full flight yet, but all seems to work well. Nice having the EXEC light back to remind me when I've forgotten!

Do we still need the FDS-PMDGController open or just run this controller?

It does not appear so. I uninstalled this and am just using the FDS CDU controller, and all appears to work fine (or maybe even better!).
