Hi All,
I upgraded to Sim-Av v.1964 on all my three PC's and found that the Server software wouldn't connect to P3D........"FLIGHT SIM IS NOT CONNECTED" error message in top left corner. I've never ever had this issue before in my previous v1.961 or older versions.

I checked my network, TCP settings, IP addresses etc etc. ALL seemed OK.

I rebooted all PCs and it then worked BUT then disconnected again......same error. So this is a random problem. It can't be my settings becuase it does work sometimes (albeit temporarlily).

In frustration, I reinstalled v.1961 which never caused this type of problem, but tunfortuantely for me the problem has carried over.

Has anyone had this issue and resolved it? Any clues guys?

Many thanks in anticipation of oyur help!
Jim

All good here with 1.964

Have you checked your network shares? I find that windows update regularly resets network settings which sometimes locks out PCs on my network

Check your WideFS (Wideclient) IP settings?

Does P3D show 1 Connected?

Wideclient show Connected?

Check that your Firewall or Windows Defender is turned off?

It was WideClient...............the IP address of the Server changed itself just for fun and a tease......it wasn't funny

Thanks Steve!

your better off setting static IPs for all your SimA/FS networked PCs. it takes out so many failure modes

you can do this at the router or within windows. I reserve the IPs at the router level and haven't had any issues

Yes, setting static IP helps a lot.

I have all SA PC's set in server like kand.

Cheers
