Since 1999, Flightdeck Solutions has been an aerospace manufacturer in Newmarket, Ontario, engineering and building flight decks and components for pilot training, aerospace research and custom programs around the world.
Everything we do depends on a team with a wide range of skills: engineers, machinists, designers, developers, assemblers, administrators and managers, working side by side on the same shop floor.
3D design and 2D drawings, bills of materials, prototyping and reverse engineering. We work in SolidWorks and Onshape, with 3D printing and sheet metal design in the mix.
Machining, fabrication, wiring and assembly of flight deck panels, systems and complete FTDs, and the testing that happens before anything ships.
Installation and commissioning at customer sites, and support for devices already in service. Some roles involve travel.
Sales, project coordination and administration, supporting customers from first enquiry to delivery.

Most of what you design or build leaves our shop as part of a working flight deck, and you’ll see it through from drawing to delivery.
One month might be a B737 MAX for a university, the next a development cockpit for an aerospace research team. We build across seven aircraft types, plus custom programs.
We’ve been building in Newmarket since 1999, and our facility has roughly doubled in size every decade.
